AutoTRUST Pilots

Pilot 1: Connected and Autonomous Vehicles

Location: Greece (AviSense.AI) and Italy (ALKE)

Pilot 1 focuses on 4D cooperative perception, decision-making approaches, and vehicle personalization solutions to increase occupant comfort, address motion sickness, and improve safety for Vulnerable Road Users. The use case leverages a vehicle equipped with PASEU's perception engine sensor suite, ALKE's industrial electric vehicle and cloud platform, and AviS's full simulation platform for development, validation, and testing.

Pilot 2 Adaptive Bus Public Services

Pilot 2: Adaptive Bus Public Services

Location: Cyprus (NPT, UCY)

Pilot 2 aims to improve transportation for people with reduced mobility and visual impairments, ensuring safety, security, and comfort. Around 20–30 participants will be recruited at the start of the project to provide 12 months of data on ride frequency, origins, destinations, and service usage patterns.

Pilot 3: Adaptive Mini Buses

Location: Switzerland (TPG, UNIGE)

Pilot 3 aims to provide door-to-door personalized services ensuring the safety and security of the AV’s occupants. The AVs will offer a 100% automated, on-demand, door-to-door service, allowing passengers to be picked up and delivered to their exact destination. Pilot 3 will also enable security and safety of passengers with the AutoTRUST in-cabin monitoring solution, empower AI-based scenarios and event-driven dataset generation, and implement early detection and mitigation of security incidents (e.g., vandalism, fighting, etc.) through various services.

Pilot 4 Adaptive Autonomous Taxi

Pilot 4: Adaptive Autonomous Taxi

Location: Crest, France (BETI)

Pilot 4 is focusing on providing personalized adaptation to ensure a comfortable and safe service where passengers feel in control, can adjust their environment, and receive the assistance and service they need. This task will also deploy the appropriate procedures to evaluate the demonstrations carried out in the pilots' use cases, taking into account objective and subjective QoE evaluation, as well as the feedback of end-users, to verify the inclusiveness, performance, and applicability of the AutoTRUST concept.
