Virtual Kick-Off

We are excited to unveil πŸš— AutoTRUST: Autonomous self-adaptive services for TRansformational personalised inclUsivenesS and resilience in mobiliTy πŸš— β€” a groundbreaking project that aims to redefine the relationship between humans and vehicles. Our journey began with a virtual kickoff in May, followed by a successful face-to-face meeting in June in beautiful Thessaloniki, Greece β˜€, at Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). After a productive summer break, we’re back in action, ready to accelerate our efforts to transform the future of mobility!

As autonomous vehicles become a reality, concerns around safety, trust, and inclusivity grow. AutoTRUST project’s core objective is to develop a novel AI-driven, self-adaptive framework of advanced vehicle technologies, designed to enhance usability, security, privacy, and well-being both on-board and during boarding/off-boarding.

Our focus is on inclusiveness and trust as we transition from human-driven to fully automated vehicles. Key focus areas include:

  • Safety & Security: Ensuring the safety of all occupants even when the vehicle is driverless, preventing dangerous and inconvenient situations.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Optimising the on-board experience with innovative solutions that promote well-being, health, and assistance.
  • Inclusivity : Creating an accessible and inclusive mobility experience for all users.
  • Collaboration & Co-Creation : Working with users, manufacturers, suppliers, researchers, and stakeholders to co-design vehicles that prioritise user needs.

In partnership with 15 entities from across Europe and beyond, led by Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) (Greece), with strong contributions from academia: University of Agder (UiA) (Norway), University of Cyprus (Cyprus) & University of Geneva (Switzerland), industry: Siemens (Germany), AviSense.AI (Greece), Alke Electric Vehicles (Italy), Waveye (Germany) and NPOs: Cyprus Public Transport (Cyprus), tpg transports publics genevois (Switzerland) and Caritas (Portugal), with international collaboration through: KATECH (Korea Automotive Technology Institute) and MORAI Inc.(Korea), Waveye (US) and sdTech inc. (Japan).

Together, we are driving towards a safer, more inclusive autonomous future. Join us on this transformative journey! 🌍🚘
